U16 football team -won the U16 Div 2 Cup

Well done to the U16 football team, management & parents as they won the U16 Div 2 Cup on the 4th of October-2020 in St Conleth's park against Kilcock, with the final score in the last seconds of extra time.

Both teams where evenly matched and it could have gone either way with both teams playing their best football in the heavy wind & rain.
For some team members this is the last year they will play as juveniles. The next time the lads play will be when they take the field as Minors. The lads continue to make their parents, their mentors & their club very proud over all the years of matches.
Thank you to Ronan Lynch, Tommy Stack, Vincent Dolan, Noel Dunne, Ciaran Costello with much help from Barry McClean, Mick Flynn, Colin O'Sullivan, Sean Molloy and the many helpers over the years. Thank you to the very supportive parents who are always their for the kids with words of encouragement and the lifts! 🙂
This team was formed by players from both U15 & U16 football teams and the season would not have finished in this way without their combined efforts, team work, work rate & impressive skills. We look forward to seeing the U15 team play as U16's next year.
