Up For The Match - Hurling Edition Our Up for the Match takes place on Friday night. Activities start with our usual Masters Hurling poc about from 8pm, so wear your county jersey (the older the better). We'll have a few spare helmets.
Cork & Tipp folk, start brushing up on your general knowledge of your county... and maybe a little on the opposition too, for the Know Your County Quiz. Clare won the quiz last year and went on to take back Liam McCarthy too... so, you never know !!

Tailteann Cup Football The Kildare senior footballers had a two point in in a thrilling finale against Limerick last Saturday in The Tailteann Cup Final at Croke Park. Joe McDonagh Cup Hurling Congratulations to the Kildare senior hurling team and especially our players James Dolan, Oisín Lynam, Ciarán Kirwan and Gerry Keegan on their magnificent campaign capturing the tier 2 championship over Laois back in June and attaining Leinster championship status for 2026.

All Ireland Street Leagues Huge numbers took part in our Street Leagues over four nights in June between hurling/camogie and then football the following week. A great job by the organisers and a lot of happy children and parents

Team Updates The senior and intermediate hurling Championship is up and running. The seniors got a fine win over Maynooth in the Preliminary Rnd to advance to the "winners" group along with Naas, Confey and Éire Óg Corrachoill. In the first round robin game against the EOCC men last weekend we came out on the wrong side of a 1-21 to 1-14 scoreline. Meanwhile the intermediates have started their campaign with two defeats to Maynooth and Wolfe Tones.
The adult camogie, football and LGFA championships are due to start in August
Our u15 camogie team travelled to Wexford for the National Féile Finals on June 21st and lost out in the division 2 cup semi final to a strong De la Salle side from Waterford. Well done on doing so well.
